Charuigachhi Light House Society
Charuigachhi Light House Society is a nationally registered not for profit organization striving to advance children’s rights and equality for girls, thus creating a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable and excluded children and their communities. Since 2005, the organization has been running some operative development activities in the areas of Bongangaon. We are champion in providing education and training to the children and youth, as this is the basis for a life in dignity, and we contribute to a decrease in poverty, to food security and health care.
OUR MISSION
We are here to work for each and everyone who needs our help and to give our best for them. We agree that it’s difficult for 10 to 15 men and women to help everyone who need, but we’re here ready to stand beside you anytime you want, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week we’re always available for you.
OUR VISION
With our feet on some pebbles of the vast desert of suffering, we still dream of a better society where the word human trafficking might only be limited in dictionary. All children should pick up their school bag rather than carrying bricks on their head. The lost hatchling would be able to find her nest before the sun sets.
May be we dream so huge standing between chaos. But we’ve faith in you and in everyone who have ever dreamed of a tomorrow where birds will be free for a fearless flight.
oUR JOY
We’re ready to rush out at 3 am of winter night to receive a lost kid. We found our joy when he returns home and holds his mother’s hand. We found joy while watching the brickyard boy putting on his school bag. And when the trafficked girl gets back her lost smile, it feels like we’ve defined our own joy for being a part it.
Our Activities
Anti-trafficking
We work on anti-trafficking under project Shakti, S.L.P. and Childline is specially for child anti-trafficking.
Child labour prevention
We work for the prevention of child labour (under 14) and to let them achieve their glory through education.
Child marriage prevention
Under the central government’s project Childline we work to prevent child marriage with the help of administration.
Legal support
We provide legal support for our rescued victims and those people who need under project ‘Taptish’.
Child education
We’re working on child education through our seminars and providing the necessities of poor students through our donations and under project Childline.
Child abuse prevention
One of our main targets is to decrease child abuse and provide the victims all administrative supports under project Childline.
CLHS’ CHISPA
Obesity is a major health problem, which is often neglected. According to The Europian Association For the study of Obesity (EASO),overweight and obesity are the fifth leading risk for global deaths. At least 2.8 million adults die each year as a result of being overweight or obese. 44% of the diabetes burden, 23% of the ischaemic heart disease burden and between 7% and 41% of certain cancer burdens are attributable to overweight and obesity.
As per the situation, we’ve designed our project CHISPA to make a spark against this global peril. It’s not that difficult to be healthy and prevent obesity, and it’s also not impossible to loose weight through a healthy and active lifestyle even after being obese. But for the lack of proper guidance the back to healthy process sounds like Everest. CLHS’ project CHISPA is made for this task. Here you can get your own diet and workout module and complete expert guidance, which is necessary for you to be fit and fine. And all these facilities are open to everyone for absolutely zero charges.

In Secretary’s eyes
The shading sky, the scorching sun, the moon hanging in the dark, the green field who have absorbed the bloodsheds of war, and the smell coming out of the barren land with the first drop of rain. This is what we all are made of. We, all the leaving beings. Though we humans carrying the glorious crown of the wisest among all, and thriving our best. It’s celebration of all the happiness we have, of all the good, of all the light, of all the holy. But deep inside, there’s still a battle cry whispers in the wind to let us know that there’s a lost peaceful warrior, who have no cloth in freezing winter, who have lost his shelter, may be he have not the resource to buy his books and prepare himself for the next battle, may be he’s seeking for a piece of bread to survive .
We have our responsibilities to the mankind. So let’s recall our duties and break all the walls which stop us from standing in their side. Lets spread our open hands to help, to embrace, and to become co walkers in this journey of life. Join us, join the peaceful war of co survival .
